Guide Stones

The Georgia Guide stone is a large granite monument in Elbert County, Georgia, USA. A message comprising ten guides is inscribed on the structure in eight modern languages.

A message consisting of a set of ten guidelines or principles is engraved on the Georgia Guide stones in eight different languages, one language on each face of the four large upright stones.

Moving clockwise around the structure from due north, these languages are: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, and Russian.

1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
2. Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
4. Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
9. Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
10. Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature

The question is, what guidelines would you give humanity? What message would you pass on for generations to come?

You may agree or disagree with some of the guidelines for living on these standing stones, yet if you could leave a legacy for mankind what message would you leave?

Atheism - The Death Of The Soul

The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (khram Khrista Spasitela) in Moscow was rebuilt in 2000 after the original was demolished by Stalin in 1931 due to the rise of communism.



One of the biggest crimes of humanity was the turning away from Religion by countries who became communist. These countries show no interest in Religion, just interest in the state. In return they are forced to worship leaders and not God.

This is what happens when God is taken away from the centre of the community, the ego of man takes presidence.

Atheism has no care for mans need for spiritual comfort, it looks at the world in a regimented way. It does not look deep into the meaning of anything. It brings darkness to where there was light. If you remove faith from a man you remove hope, you remove his identity with the universe. You make a souless man, a man bereft of love for his brother.

The 20th century brought many atheists to rule within the world, not many of them led their people in a kind way. More often than not they murdered anyone who was against their vision. The treatment of fellow humans took another backward step.

Is this what you want? a life led by scientific twaddle. As we all know science thinks it has the answers one minute, to later find out it was wrong.

You cannot put people in boxes, you cannot force a set of values on people, just because you think it might bring greater productivity to the whole.

People have free will, they must choose for themselves, they must choose their own life, their own destiny.. Remind man that he is part of greater things, he is a child of God, he is part of the great universe. He does have hope, he can make a change within his world..

Faith must never die, this story is of a beautiful cathedral that was demolished because people turned their backs on God.

Do you want to destroy the temple within you? Do you want to turn your back on the love that pours from the Heavens? I know I don’t, it brings me great comfort when times are hard, what comfort would I have got in a communist country. None at all, bar a pat on the back for keeping my world grey.
